· Zire 72 Special Edition Handheld
Pros:
- The processor is fast
- Can play MP3s and games
- Has a built-in camera for pictures and videos
- SD expansion slot
- Large LCD screen
- Sleek design
- Contains useful applications.
Cons:
- No flash in the camera
- No lens cover
- No keypads
- Web can only be accessed by five Bluetooth enabled cell phone models
- Auto-shuts down very quickly
- Price is a bit high.
According to different users of Zire 72 Special Edition Handheld, its 1 megapixel camera produces good picture resolution. Also, you can put nice effects using black and white as well as sepia color tone.
Furthermore, playing MP3s is very easy. You can simply transfer your MP3s from your computer to the SD card and then open them in Real Player. The songs are displayed automatically on the SD card and playing them is very easy. It is also perfect for organizing your schedules, to-do lists, contacts and messages.
· Zire 31 Handheld
Pros:
- Affordable price
- Can play MP3s and games
- Good battery life
Cons:
- Poor LCD screen resolution
- Not enough keypad buttons
The Zire 31 Handheld is considered a cool Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) for
starters and students. This is not suitable for business and professional. The color screen is relatively nice but small compared to the Zire 31.
Playing MP3s is easy but playing games is quite difficult because of poor button configuration. Battery life is long. The Zire 31 is also good for managing daily activities, documents, sending and receiving emails, organizing contacts, keeping photos as well as video clips. Overall, the Palm Zire 31 can perform all the PDA basic tasks.

Pros:
- Affordable price
- Long battery life
- User-friendly
- Cool applications
- Enough memory (8MB of RAM)
Cons:
- No backlight
- Limited Expansion
- Outdated PIM Software
- Lack of features
Most users feel that the Zire 21 is not intended for working professionals because of its low-end features. To be frank, the Zire 21 contains very basic PDA features. Nevertheless, it would make a cool gift for secondary and college students who want to organize their notes and projects.
