Palm Pilot Phones: The Next Generation of Mobile Technology

One of the most now commonly seen sights today are that of persons who appear to be holding a remote control, and writing some stuff on it using a ball point pen. As appearances are always deceiving, these persons aren't writing down their names on their remote controls, but are rather navigating through their personal digital assistants, or palm pilots in the vernacular. The "pen" they are holding is actually a stylus, which are "quills" used in handling a palm pilot's touch screen feature. The
vernacular hails from the first generation of personal digital assistants coming from Palm, which was the Pilot series introduced in 1996. It was so popular that its name has somewhat prevailed in defining personal digital assistants, like how "Google" now refers to searching.
Synergy is the solid foundation defining palm pilots are popular end user electronics gadgets today, as most palm pilots are built with various multifunction features, with each feature quite handy and smart for users to have.
For starters, aside from the personal organizer feature palm pilots were designed to be for, many models now feature integrated digital cameras, which practically makes a a digital camera in itself. Just like a digital camera, camera integrated palm pilots have storage media, as well
as a camera lens, of course. The presence of storage media, or memory devices, either removable or fixed, also allows for a nifty feature for palm pilots to play: portable playback devices for audio and video files. Yes, a palm pilot, aside from being an electronic personal organizer and a digital camera, could also pose as a portable movie and music player.
But one particular feature which has practically made palm pilots a now staple item which many users have, would be the phones series of palm pilots. phones are basically what their namesakes have to say about them. They are phones, equipped with mobile phone capacities, with some featuring integrated cameras, as well as the abovementioned features.
Palm is known to boast some of the best phones in the market today, standing side by side with other phones from other brands like Sony Ericson and Nokia. Palm's Treo line is quite popular among phones, and stands to be a name many associate with phones.
